The Bible! What a complexed piece of text. Have you ever received a text from someone and sat their trying to figure out what the text meant? I think we can at times mis-interpret a text or even at times a message and it's tone. Don't you think that this is something that is generally done with the Bible. Think about it just for a minute. Everyone tries to interpret the Bible so that it suits and fits their lifestyle. The Bible stories and writings are not meant to fit on like the right pair of shoes but instead it is suppose to conflict with our way of life. We don't like messages that make us feel uncomfortable and that is exactly what the Bible does to us. So know that when God asked this Dad in the Bible to kill his son. This was something that was both a test of faith and love. Now if you are reading this, you are probably wondering how a Father killing his son is a message of faith and love. Now unfortunately we will not be able to share this answer with you at this moment, however our team of talented young adults and teens will be putting together a short film on this story in the Bible. So here is something to ponder for now. What would you do or say if you saw a Father claiming that God has asked him to kill his son live on YOUTUBE. We like to challenge others to think outside the Box. This is a story in the Bible, but the question is which story. JOIN US EVERY FRIDAY @ 7PM St. Helena Catholic Church in the Dolan Center Room #4

Friday Night! The night it all began. It was an amazing night. We discussed Censored and Uncensored. What is the difference between the two. It's simple; censored is the limit to what you are allowed to say or do and uncensored is ability to do or say what you like without boundaries or limits. So the video below gives a pretty basic idea of how we do this in our daily lives to God. Watch the video you won't regret it.
